The Giving Circle of HOPE is a philanthropic service organization with a mission to help needy people in Northern Virginia. Since its launch in 2004, the Giving Circle of HOPE has grown to 100+ members and awarded over $300,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations. In addition, the Giving Circle of HOPE hosts an Empty Bowls fundraiser each spring and a Gifts That Give Hope alternative gift fair each fall. Members also participate in five ongoing service programs: Flashes of Hope for children with cancer and their families, Kids' Club at the Embry Rucker Community Shelter, Caring Friends at Cameron Glen Nursing Center, Crafting Hope art & craft workshops for low-income women, and Helping Hungry Kids for disadvantaged elementary students.
